Within the period from 25 August to 24 September 2000 in big German cities (Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Oberhausen, Cologne, Stuttgart and Munich) there was a casting for RTL II-Reality where more than 4.500 girls over 18 took part.

200 winners of the pre-selection were invited to the second contest, but only the best 32 girls were invited to the Workshop in Mallorca. 11 reached the final and, finally the jury were unanimous to choose the winners: Jessica Walls (2 February 1977), Lucy Diakovska (2 April 1976), Nadja Benaissa (26 April 1982), Sandy Mölling (27 April 1981) and Vanessa Petruio (23 October 1979). 

The first single "Daylight In Your Eyes" was released on 5 February 2001 and became 'platinum' one week later. On 16 February No Angels first appeared in "The Dome" in Dortmund.

Their debut album "Elle'ments" was released on 12 March and immediately became No 1 in the Charts. The second single "Rivers Of Joy" became No 7 in the Charts. No Angels is the first group in the history of pop-music who became No 1 in the Charts of European countries with their single, album and on the radio representing Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

After a little while the album "Elle'ments" became 'platinum' twice, during about 6 weeks more than 750.000 discs were sold. While choosing 13 songs each girl could take part in the discussion so that each of them could realize her musical passions. Producers Torsten Brozmann, Peter Ries and Leysley Mandokey were anxious about the album to be multi-ply, but the elements were always associated tightly with "No Angels".

An individual image was chosen for each girl: Lucy, full of energy and with red hair is 'fire'. Sandy is 'ice', Vanessa became 'earth' and Nadja, a dreamer, is 'air'. Jessica is Phychea, the spirit - a kind of indefinite substance.

In 2002 Christian Geller and Lucy, one of "No Angels"’s soloists, wrote a few songs in KA.G.B studio in Koblenz. One of these songs is called "Stay"; it was included in a new album of five angels "Now ...us".

In Germany this album reached the platinum status twice, and in Switzerland and Austria it has got a golden prize.

In November of 2002 the next "No Angels"’ album "When The Angels Swing" was released; in Germany it became golden. A song "Funky Dance", written by Thomas Anders and Christian Geller, was included in it.

200 победительниц предварительного отбора прошли во второй круг, но только самые лучшие 32 девушки были приглашены к Workshop на Майорку. 11 прошли в финал, наконец, жюри единодушно определило победительниц. При выборе 13 песен все девушки могли принять участие в разговоре, дабы каждая смогла реализовать собственные музыкальные пристрастия. Производители Торстен Бротцманн, Петер Рис (Peter Ries) или Лесли Мандоки заботились о многослойности альбома, но элементы были связаны всегда тесно с NO ANGELS. 

 Когда занялись стилем каждой девушки, то для каждой был отобран индивидуальный имидж: Люси, полная энергии с красными волосами, была огнем. Сэнди - льдом, Ванесса стала землей, а мечтательница Надья - воздухом. Джессика же была Психеей, духом - некоей субстанцией, связующей все элементы. 

В 2002 году в студии KA.G.B. в Кобленце Кристиан Геллер (Christian Geller) вместе с одной из солисток группы "No Angels" Люси написал несколько песен. Одна из них называется "Stay", и она вошла в новый альбом "Now … us" пяти Ангелочков.

Альбом достиг дважды платинового статуса в Германии, получил золото в Швейцарии и Австрии.

В ноябре 2002 года увидел свет очередной альбом "No Angels" "When The Angels Swing", ставший в Германии золотым. В этот альбом вошла песня Томаса Андерса и Кристиана Геллера "Funky Dance"
