Randy Kerber (b. September 25, 1958 in California, USA) – composer, musical performer, arranger, songwriter – is widely known with his film music work. He composed music scores for films like Raw Deal (1986), Date with an Angel (1987), "Tracey Takes On..." TV Series (1996), The Wild Thornberry's Movie (2002) and was even nominated for an Academy Award for his composing work in The Color Purple (1985). Also he made orchestrations on many films: The Ring of the Musketeers (1992), Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), A Beautiful Mind (2001), Jeepers Creepers II (2003), Troy (2004), I, Robot (2004), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), The Legend of Zorro (2005), Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006) among others and played keyboards on Titanic (1997), My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002), Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002), The Interpreter (2005) etc.*

Randy began studying the piano at the age of 6, and by age 18 had become proficient in many diverse musical genres. He attended CSUN, but by the age of 20 had become so entrenched in Los Angeles studio work that he cut his education loose to pursue a career as a studio musician. Since then, Kerber has been nominated a Grammy for his arrangement of Over the Rainbow for Barbra Streisand. He produced the debut album for the German chanteuse, Ute Lemper, as well as played piano on Thomas Anders solo albums ("When Will I See You Again" and "Barcos de Cristal"). He has also composed commissioned works for the New Hollywood String Quartet. In addition to his studio career, Randy Kerber is a sought-after collaborator and performs regularly at concerts in the Los Angeles area and nationally.
