Modern Talking has just released a single "Geronimo's Cadillac". BRAVO will show where this and the other songs are being produced!

Thomas is tired of bustle. He won't let anyone photograph himself till the end of this year. After 2 days of singing in the studio, he returned back home, where his new pet was waiting for him: a black afghan dog, called Princess.

BRAVO: You've prepared some surprises on your 4th Album In The Middle Of Nowhere. Which ones?

Dieter: I tried not to make simply texts for the songs, but to express my feelings in pictures, not only texts "I Love You", like earlier. The songs have become brighter. In "10000 Lonely Drums" you can imagine drums of a virgin forest, and it can also mean your special heartbeat, when you're in love. "Geronimo's Cadillac", our new single is dedicated to the famous Indian chief of Apachies, who went into the history, after the Civil War of 1865, as an specimen of cruelty, "Winnetous". "In Shaire" describes a Land of Dream, that turned into a Land of Nightmare, "The Angels Sing In New York City" is about night in New York. Funky song "Sweet Little Sheila", "Lonely Tears In Chinatown", telling about unshaired love to the asian girl, and "Princess Of The Night" - are love-songs.

BRAVO: And which ones are your favourite?

Dieter: "Riding On A White Swan", song against drugs, cocain, etc. And a titlesong, "Stranded In The Middle Of Nowhere", because though we're on top of our career, still we do not know, where exactly we are. A Ballad "Give Me Peace on Earth" - is our 1st song about Peace. My son Marc inspired me for this one. We should build peace on Earth for our children, so they could have a home in the future.

BRAVO: And who is your helper in translating songs into English now?

Dieter: Nobody. I do everything on my own. I don't care if there are some mistakes in the texts.

BRAVO: A musician Geff Harrison was claiming, that he didn't only translated texts into English, but he wrote them. So, what was the word of the court?

Dieter: It's all done. He got his money, and we came to the conclusion that neither he, nor I would ever say a word about this story. Now it's more important for me to pay for the garden of my neighbours.

BRAVO: Why?

Dieter: Those who live in the second part of our semi-detached house, are bothered by my fans, who are gathering under our door. So, now I have to set the border in order to have my neighbours sitting comfortly in their garden.

BRAVO: Don't you want to move?

Dieter: Yeah. I'm dreaming of a white house with my privat garden, fruittrees and berry-bushes, and a high fence. Marc is grown enough to run and we afraid he might fall into Alster from the hill behind the house. Besides, the laywer of Geff Harrison lives in the neighbourhood, and all that story with my neighbours...

Томас устал от шумихи. Он не намерен соглашаться на фотосъемку больше в этом году, и через два дня, в течение которых он пел в студии, он уехал домой. Там его впрочем ждёт новая обитательница - чёрная афганская собака Принцесса.

BRAVO: Какие сюрпризы вы приготовили на вашем 4м альбоме In The Middle Of Nowhere?

Дитер: Я попробовал сделать не тексты к песням, а выразить чувства в картинках, не только - как раньше - песни "Я тебя люблю". Песни стали ярче. В "10000 Lonely Drums" можно представить себе барабаны из дремучего леса, но это также означает, что твоё сердце стучит, когда ты влюблён. "Geronimo's Cadillac", наш новый сингл, посвящён известному индейскому вождю племени Апачи, который после гражданской войны 1865 года вошёл в историю как образец жестокости "Виннету". "In Shaire" описывает Страну Мечты, ставшую Страной Кошмаров. "The Angels Sing In New York City" - про ночь, проведенную в Нью-Йорке. Funky-песня "Sweet Little Sheila", "Lonely Tears In Chinatown", рассказывающая о неразделённой любви к азиатке, и "Princess Of The Night" - песни, посвящённые любви.

BRAVO: А какие песни тебе самому больше всего нравятся?

Дитер: "Riding On A White Swan", песня направленная против наркотиков, кокаина, и т.д. И песня, давшая название альбому, "Stranded In The Middle Of Nowhere", так как мы сейчас на пике нашей карьеры, но толком не знаем, где же мы в действительности находимся. Медленная песня "Give Me Peace on Earth" - первая наша песня о мире во всем мире. Меня вдохновил мой сын Марк. На Земле должен быть мир, чтобы и наши дети в будущем имели дом.

BRAVO: Кто же тебе помогает переводить тексты на английский?

Дитер: Уже никто. Я всё делаю один, и, если там ошибки, то мне это абсолютно всё равно.

BRAVO: Музыкант Джефф Харрисон утверждал, что он не только переводил тексты, но и сам писал их. Чем же закончился судебный процесс?

Дитер: Всё улажено. Он получил свои деньги, и мы сошлись на том, что ни он, ни я больше на эту тему слова не скажем. Мне теперь гораздо важнее расплатиться с соседями за палисадник.

BRAVO: Почему?

Дитер: Жители второй половины нашего двухквартирного дома подали жалобу, что фанаты вечно скапливаются под дверью и утомляют их. И я теперь должен так разграничить сад, чтобы мои соседи могли спокойно жить в своей половине.

BRAVO: А вы не хотите переехать?

Дитер: Да. Я мечтаю о доме белого цвета, с садом, фруктовыми деревьями, ягодными кустарниками, и высоким забором. Марк уже научился бегать, и мы боимся, что он может со склона за домом свалиться в Альстер. К тому же, по соседству живёт адвокатша Джеффа Харрисона - и теперь ещё эти проблемы с соседями...
